"Installation Library for component fax could no be initialized"

When I click the Add/Remove Windows Components button
in the Add or Remove Programs Window of the Control Panel
I get the following pop up: "Installation Library for
component fax could not be initialized". Hence no Fax
Console for Me. I have Windows XP home edition. Any
solutions to this problem? Thanks

Did this error come when you clicked on "Add/Remove Windows Component"
itself, or did it ask for any CD after which you got this popup?

Sorry to butt into somebody else's question but I have the same
problem. I get this message when I click on "Add/Remove Windows
Component" after I'm already in the Add or Remove Programs dialog box.
