install XP on separate drives

I have 2 drives, drive one already has W2K. I have added a second
drive and would like to install and run XP.
What are the general steps to accomplish this.
Tosh.
 
Physically disconnect W2k drive,disconnect all but keybrd,mouse,etc,upon
starting computer,set to boot to xp cd (set in BIOS,install cd),at xp cd boot
screen select install xp,xp will format and install auto.
