Hello,

How does a company with many PC's buy only the license and install XP Home
then change the 25 digit serial key for each PC?

I would like to use IEAK or something similar to install XP Home on a PC
then only change the 25 digit serial key to the legal new license bought
from MS.

Thanks for your time, Gary in New Orleans

A company should be installing Windows XP
Professional and not Windows XP Home Edition.

Why? if they don't use Domain controllers there's absolutely NO reason to
buy Pro. More "give Microsoft more money even though the OP doesn't need to"
RUBBISH from a jerk who has the effrontery to call himself an MVP.

Google "xp home vs xp pro" and you will read many non-Microsoft reasons for
using XP Pro in your stated environment.

Sorry? XP Home is EXACTLY the same OS as XP Pro minus a few networking
functions. Unless you need to join a domain or use IIS, then please
enlighten me as to what Pro can do that Home can't?
