Hi there,

I have a mini USB external hard drive. I usually use it for backups,
but now I would like to install Windows XP on it. Is it possible?

My idea is the following. When I visit a friend who has a PC, I want
to bring my external drive and connect it to the PC over USB, but I
want to use my applications and make no changes (or only minimal
changes) to the PC, that is, I don't want don't install applications
on this PC. Can I implement that? How?

Jean

Windows XP can only be successfully installed on an internal
hard drive. External drives are designed strictly for file storage.
