Install Windows 98 on WindowsXP Computer?

B

Bill

I've got to install Windows 98SE on an existing Windows XP computer for compatibility
with some old program. Problem is, I know that this will overwrite the XP boot for the
older 98SE OS.

What is the safe way to do this?

Thanks!

Use the Program Compatibility Wizard to install your
program. Attempting to install Windows 98 is
not an easy task, but it can be done "if" you have
plenty of time, patience, and stamina.

What program is it you need to run? What errors, if any, do you get
trying to run it in XP.

Win98 is best put on first, then xp.

It's not critical - I'm trying to install Doom (the original). Seriously. It's
absolutely the only video game I play, which keeps me productive and away from the other
games.
