Ok...this is NOT an XP question...it is a windows 98 question kind of, but
there are no people in 98 newsgroups which is the reason I am asking here.
It is specifically an installation question, and I'm trying to install 98se
on a older computer that was in need of a hard drive. I got one off
Ebay...it works. I have a windows 98 CD, but it won't start. I downloaded a
98 start-up disk, and did an fdisk, but now I'm stuck. Any ideas, or do you
know where I can go to get the info?

Not true. There are lots of Win98 newsgroups, and some are very busy, e.g.
win98.gen_discussion. Best to post your question where it belongs and where
you find the win98 experts.
