install shield (ikernel.exe) error

i have searched and searched for a solution for this
problem, im tryin to uninstall a game and every time i do
its gives me an error that reads: "The installshield
engine (ikernel.exe) could not be launched Class not
registered. if anyone has a clue on how to fix it please

from the
%systemroot%\system32 folder:

STDOLE32.TLB
STDOLE2.TLB
STDOLE.TLB

Expand the appropriate file(s) from the <cd-rom>:\i386 folder to the
%systemroot%\system32 folder.
