Install shield and Search assistant

I keep getting 2 errors: #1--Install shield needed to close and #2--Search assistant needed to close. Is there anything I can do to repair the problem? Thank You!

To reinstall search assistant, go to Start > Run and copy and paste
the following line:

rundll32 advpack.dll,LaunchINFSection %systemroot%\inf\srchasst.inf
The program will ask for the XP CD.
