Install problem

I have an older windows program that I am trying to install on my new
computer but every time I try to run the set up program it is terminated and
I get the error message that this appears to be an illegal copy. This is the
original CD that I purchased. It will install with no errors on my Windows
95 system but I really want to put it on my new computer which is the one I
will be using. Does anyone have any suggestion as to how to do this. I
already tried changing the compatibility settings of the setup.exe for this
program.

If Compatibility does not work, contact the manufacturer for Windows XP
compatibility information.
You can also search for a forum for users of that program, they would have
that and other related information.
