INSTALL PRINTER

CANT GET MY NEW LAPTOP TOSHIBA P25-507 TO RECOGNIZE THAT
MY 1997 HP LASERJET-6L IS PLUGGED IN TO MY USB PORT.WITH
MY OLD LAPTOP W/WINDOWS 98 IT WOULD INSTALL WITH NO
SOFTWARE USED AND PRINT ALWAYS. THERE MUST BE A WAY TO
GET IT PRINTING. PLEASE HELP......

Try the following:

1. Ensure the USB ports are on in the BIOS.
2. Is there a BIOS upgrade from your manufacturer?
3. Do other USB devices work in the USB port?
4. Install all service packs for the operating system
5. Be sure you're using the latest drivers.
