install old hard disk

Hi,

I am removing a hard disk from an old computer (win98) to a new computer
(WinXp) as a slave hard disk. My old computer could only detect up to 32 GB
out of 60 GB (old BIOS). When I placed this old hard disk to my new
computer, the new computer only detects 32 GB. I am thinking about using the
"fdisk" to re-partition the hard disk but I could not find the program on XP.
Where can I find this "fdisk" in XP? or Do anyone know other ways to do it?

Thanks .

No, not exactly. What's happening is that Windows simply sees the
existing partition of 32GB. There's nothing else there for it to
see.

That's not the way in XP. Do it in Start | Programs |
Administrative Tools | Computer Management | Disk Management.

If you installed your old computer's hard drive as a slave, open
Disk Management and format that slave drive using NTFS.
No need to try and use the old Fdisk method.
