Install Leopard on your PC in 3 easy steps

Note! APPLE does not allow you to install MACOSX on a PC, the link towards
the blog was only
posted out of interest in what is really possible using technology. Its
geeky nerdy thing.

I do not endorse hacking any OS.
I also do not endorse Vista, because its crap. If you want to install vista
take your own risks.

Hey Cockhead, why don't you venture into other Vista Newsgroups and try and
help people.

I only see your poison in this Newsgroup

The reason is you don't know how to use a computer.

That's unfortunate because Vista runs well on Macs according to Mac users.
It runs ok for many on PCs too. In time, you will learn how to get the best
from it.. :-)

If only MAC made OSX easy and legal to install on PC's then there would be
no reason to use crapista...

You mean the antivistachrist?

Quite a reasonable price Leopard is. $129 or for 5 licenses $199

Its only a minor upgrade and fix pack for the previous OS X.
Mac users seem quite happy to pay $129 per annum to "rent" their OS.
Thats nearly $750 for the six years XP has been updated and fixed for free.

I am unable to find any info on having to renew the license yearly. Can
you please cite a reference? Thanks.

You don't -- However, each upgrade requires a payment. Conversely, XP's
SP1 and SP2 were free.

There have been significant upgrades to XP that were delivered free.
To get the "upgrades" or even later fixes on Mac OS X you have to buy a new
version each year.
Sounds like a subscription model to me.

Just imagine the uproar if M$ produced a new windows every year with a few
minor upgrades and limited fixes to later versions to force people to
upgrade at $129.

Again, please cite a url that states that there is an annual $129
rental/subscription fee. Thanks.

Well, do YOU have a url to cite? Obviously, you are aware of such a site.

Did Apple supply OS X 10.1 free?
10.2?
10.3?
10.4?
10.5?
Will the next one be free?
They are not new OSes with lots of new features.. they are just fixes and
minor upgrades.

Do you get the idea yet? Or are you still running a power PC?

I don't know. You tell me. Did each cost $129? Were some less? Were some
more? You originally stated the releases were "per annum", defined by
the american heritage dictionary as:
–noun- by the year; yearly.
-adv- By the year; annually: a magazine subscription of 40 dollars per
annum.
Were the above releases done "per annum"? Annually? As a subscription?
They are not new OSes with lots of new features.. they are just fixes

And you are in a position to make that determination? The same has been
said about vista. In your learned estimation, is that determination correct?
Do you get the idea yet? Or are you still running a power PC?
Get what idea? That you cannot back up your statement(s) with a
verifiable url or anything else? And why would anything I might or might
not run have anything to do with the info I ask you to verify?

Yeah actually, I do. http://www.apple.com/macosx/ <-- Note that the
update is a "buy now" button.
And? Is it a "per annum" offer? Is it a subscription offer? Is the offer
predicated on having purchased a previous iteration? Or is it just an
offer to purchase an os without any preconditions?
Compare this with http://www.microsoft.com/windowsxp/sp2/ which is a
free download for existing Windows XP customers.
Vista can be purchased as an upgrade from a previous version of windows.
Is it free?

If you have proof that what I say is wrong then post it.

Vista is significantly different from XP and is six years after XP.
It comes with applications you had to buy for XP and costs less.
