Install Launcher Problem

Hi, can anyone help. When I try to install a certain piece of software(Sony
Sonic Stage) I recieve a message along the lines of "Install Launcher has
encountered a problem and needs to shut down, sorry for the inconveniance
etc" then the annoying send report to microsoft message. Please help if you
can BTW the software works fine on my other puter

i would also like to add, that my computer it doesn't work on is xp home, and the one that it does work on is xp professional. i don't know if that makes a difference.

I just received Sony 510 player for Christmas . I have windows xp
home edition and I installed the sonic stage and simple burner
softwear no problem . I just copied my first cd to md and it works
great . All I need to do is figure out all the other functions I can
do.
