Install hangs at collecting information

I have burned 3 dvds with the 32bit version of vista and each burns ok. When
I try to install it after I put in the key and hit next it hangs at
collecting information. I have tried both getting updates and not getting
updates. Any ideas? mY SYSTEMS IS GOOD FOR THIS SOFTWARE OK>
 
I would start by updating your BIOS and disconnecting any devices that are
attached and not required.
 
uncheck the activate box and see what happens, also leave the key blank, you
can enter it later.
