I have Vista Home Premium x64 installed on my computer. The computer is
furthermore equipped with a DVD burner (Samsung Writemaster). I have problems
burnings files to both DVDs and CDs using Vista's built-in burnings software.
When I insert an empty DVD-R disc in my DVD burner the icon for the DVD
drive changes and acknowledges that I have inserted a DVD-R disc. When I try
to open the DVD driver, however, Windows displays a message saying that it
cannot read the DVD in the drive instead of opening a writeable folder.
The DVD-burning hardware seems to be ok however as it is possible to burn
ISO files using ISO Recorder v3 (freeware application).
All drivers are up to date.
Anyone who has any ideas on what might be wrong or what I might be doing
wrong?
Thanks in advance!
