CD Burning Problems in Window Vista

Hi,

I have been experiencing the following 2 problems under Windows Vista:

1) Occaisionally when I try to drag a file to the CD I accidentally
drop it before I hit the target window. This causes Windows Explorer
to hang - I must restart it by closing it down.

2) Very often when I go to burn a CD Vista complains that it
experienced an error initializing the CD, thereby turning the CD into
a coaster. I have no idea what the error is and have never had a
problem using other CD burning software.

Do you have any information about these problems? Is there a fix in
the works, or must I use 3rd party software to burn my CDs?

Thanks.

Why don't you learn how to use "copy and paste" instead of "drag and
drop"?

Good advice Mick - works for me

I usually use the right-click to drag files, when I release I get a menu and
can always cancel the drag. As for burning, yes, Vista seems to have issues.
See if you can set your burn speed to something lower, or try different
media.
