Install failure

While upgrading to XP pro from Win ME I get the message "
A problem has been detected and windows has been shut down

While upgrading to XP pro from Win ME I get the message "
A problem has been detected and windows has been shut down
to prevent damage to your computer.

I would suggest not doing an upgrade but full install, upgrades are
generally not a good idea. Also, XP is pickier about memory, BIOS settings
and drivers. If you still get the same error while doing a full install I'd
flash the bios and maybe swap RAM.
