Operating System: Windows XP Professional w/SP1 (Not yet installed-using for boot)
1. Built computer, booted off XP CD and established RAID 0 configuration using Promise Fast Build utility.
2. Set BIOS very carefully following ASUS manual.
Onboard IDE Operate Mode: Enhanced
Enhanced Mode Support On: S-ATA
Configure SATA as RAID: Yes
Serial ATA BOOTROM Enabled
Onboard Promise Controller: Enabled
Operating Mode: RAID
3. Boot from XP CD, F6 to add drivers, Windows setup progresses to point where indicates that it has found no hard disk devices in the computer. Press "S" to install Promise 378 RAID Drivers from ASUS Download. Keeps returning me to screen saying, "Please insert the disk labeled Manufacturer-supplied hardware support disk into drive A and press Enter.
4. Any ideas of where to go from here?
