install disk

I recently aquired a used Compaq with Microsoft XP proffesional installed.
However, it did not come with the disk . How can I get my disk so I can
format the harddrive on my computer?

Contact Compaq support and see if they will sell you one, or purchase a new

Does the computer have a recovery partition?

Otherwise, try Staples.
