My Windows XP Professional CD is too damaged to use. What can I do to get it
replaced? I still have my old Product Key, I just need the actual disc
replaced.

Also, if you have a friend with the same version of XP that you do (XP
Home/Pro/Media Center retail/OEM) and s/he has a good installation CD, just
ask them to copy it and give you the copy. The Product Key is your license
to run Windows, not the physical media.

When you acquire such a CD, verify it works. If it does, burn a copy and
use that copy in the future. Safeguard the original by placing in a CD case
(not a paper sleeve) and storing in a cool, dark, and undisturbed location.
