On Instal of XP Professional (Upgrading from XP Home)
error message that componants needed could not be
installed, data error (cyclic redundancy check). Cleaned
disc, did whatever and cannot shut down computer and
return to orig. system. Computer will only accept what
appears now to be defective disc. I need my computer even
if XP Proessional soes not install. How do I get relief
from this frustration?

Where do I go to get direct support from Microsoft. How
do I find a response to this plea for HELP!!!
