I have a ppt presentation where music has been added but when I add burn it
and the music file to the cd the music will not play. Can you help?

This normally tells you that the link has been broken. If the music is in wav
format, I would recommend you to embed it. Otherwise, put the music in the
same folder as the ppt file, then re-insert the music.

You can also try out PPTools FixLinks Pro to help fixing the link.
Take a look at this for more information on embedding the sound and other
related stuff:

I have downloaded music from MSN Media Play and it saves as a .wma file which
power point is not recognizing. How can I convert the music into a 'sound'
that PPT will recognize?

Down loaded media (ITunes or MediaPlay) contain DRM (Digital Rigthts
Management) that does NOT allow you to use it in a distribution package like
PowerPoint. (It's allow about the copyright.)

That makes sense. So how do you put music to a presentation so that it works?
Thankyou for the help.

That is becoming more and more of a tricky situation, well if you don't want
to violate copyright laws that is. There are a number of methods that you
might use, first is to use royalty free music, contact the publisher and ask
permission to use it, or another option (if you want to risk it) is to "rip"
the music from a CD, or "capture" it with your sound card.

How do you 'capture' it with the sound card?
