Inserting Fields

I have created a field in my header that pulls the styleref called "chapter
name." For the first several chapters, this works fine. In the fourth
chapter, and all those following it, a forward slash has started appearing in
all the headers in front of the updated chapter name. What could be causing
this?

First of all, make sure that there isn't a slash character in the text
(formatted in the referenced style).

If that is not the case, what is the field code for the STYLEREF in those
chapters?
