Inserting a clip into a clip

Is there any way to show two or more clips simultaneously? For example; side
by side comparison videos, or perhaps four videos playing on a tiled screen;
or a small window for monitoring one video while the rest of the screen is
used for the main feature.

Hello,

Not within Movie Maker. But if you can grab a copy of MovieXone or its big
brother MovieDV you can manipulate your clips within a 3D space...
Imagine...the Harry Potter films where you move through the halls of the
school...you see the pictures on the walls and each one has a wizard in it
that appears to talk to the people passing by. In MovieDV you can do that
exact effect in one pass using eleven video clips....in MovieXone you can
do it one picture frame at a time......and yes the video can be fully
controlled so that it maintains the proper aspect as you pass it by.

MovieXone is free and almost certainly has more abilities than the new
comer to video editing could ever want....MovieDV costs US $69 and has the
same interface as MovieXone. MovieXone can be found at the website of PC
Utilities but you have to pay a small fee to join the download club....and
that's worth too...you will see why when you see the HUGE amount of files
for download
