Inserted movie will only show white when plays

[PPT Movie not working]

When I insert a movie file and play the movie all I get is a white screen.
Other insert that were done proviously work fine. If I hyperlink the movie
it works fine. I have rebooted my compueter and still not working. I have
open a new presentation and it still will not work. Thanks Garry

Is the video file buried deep in the folder structure? Try putting both the
video and the presentation in a folder with a short path and then reinsert
the video.
