Insert Comment no longer available

I seemed to have lost the ability to add Comments in Design view (also, Date
and Time, Navigation). I wondered that could have happened. I had a bad
sector on my hard disk a few days ago, but I uninstalled FP2003 and
reinstalled from scatch.

Help anyone?!

Choose Page Options from the Tools menu, then click the
Authoring tab.

Set the three dropdown boxes to Complete, Custom, and IE5,
then select all the check boxes.
