inkjet print head protocol

I am kinda curious and would like to know how the print data are sent
to the inkjet head, from the printer controler(format & protocol).
Does anyone have a clue where I can find such info ?

It can vary, by either raw multiplexing, or serial multiplexing.
You get the exact procedure from the printer manfuacturer, if they are
willing to give it up.
