information on warcraft 2 Battle.net

ok i can not get the dos war craft on my computer....tides of darkness and
the expansion set.....Mr Philips mentioned the warcraft 2 battle
..net.....does this play on xp windows, is it the same as war craft 2 on
dos....also do u play it over the internet or is it like dos u can play by
urself on ur computer...i don't have time to sit and play over the internet
only if i can play by myself and leave when i have to and come back when i
want....this is the last on warcrat2......i promise i just need to know this
before i buy it thanks Patsy
