Winter Is Coming

I think i been everywhere and i can not find place to activate my
ScreenSavers options,,, Where do i go to find this,,,Thanks in Advance,,

Right click on the desktop and select properties. From
there go to the screeensaver tab, the rest is the same as
old windows

When i do that, i get a box for me to set my background themes,,,there is no
other tabs for me to click on,,,

//

There should be 5 tabs, with one of them called Screen Saver. How many tabs
do you see for the Properties window?

When i right click on the desktop/properties, a box comes up Called "Display
Properties" and there are NO other tabs to click on,,, In this box i can
only change my back ground theme,,

Control Panel - Display - Screensavers. When a saver is selected in the
drop down, click the Settings button alongside to get its
settings/options

I think you would be wise to run the System File Checker (SFC). It should
repair the file responsible for your Display Properties window
malfunctioning. You use your CD. It runs without giving you any feedback.
See if it helps:

"The following assumes you have an actual XP CD as opposed to a restore CD
or restore partition supplied by your PC manufacturer.

Go to Start, type sfc /scannow in the run box and press enter. Note, there
is a space between sfc and the forward slash. You will be asked for your XP
CD. Be aware, upon inserting the CD the XP setup screen may appear, this is
not a part of sfc /scannow, rather it is being invoked by autorun. Simply
minimize the screen and allow sfc to continue."
