Around the time I installed Microsoft AntiSpyware, a new Icon appeared in my
system tray titled "Index Manager" I have not been able to track it to any
application I have running on my computer. Is it associated with Microsoft
AntiSpyware? Has anyone else seen it? I have tried Microsoft Search,
Google, etc. I have also used System information and the advanced Tools in
Microsoft AntiSpyware, with no luck. I have exited the app and compared
lists of running processes. I cannot even associate the Icon with an .exe
file. The UI has no identification to an application nor manufacturer.

For those that have not looked at them the Advanced Tools are superb.

By the way, I am a different Bill-R than the Bill R that had the Network
problem.

I found the source. It was PaperPort 10 which I upgraded just before I
installed Microsoft AntiSpyware.

Sorry for what turned out to be OT.

Thanks for letting us know--I knew what it wasn't but not what it was!
