Index - Making links - for PDF

Is there any way to make my Word 2000 (or 2003) document's Index pages into
links so that when I convert to PDF (Acrobat 7.0) the Index pages remain as
links? THANKS
 
No version of Word has the built-in ability to create hyperlinked
indexes. But one of the regular groupies here has written a VBA
add-in that will create a hyperlinked index in Word. If you
