I just passed from an auto play problem documented by Microsoft to be
a fault in shell32.dll. I downloaded an exe file autofix.exe from
Microsoft's site and solved part of the issue. I inserted a blank cd
and clicked on the DVD writer. As soon as I clicked I had "Incorrect
Function". I found that "Enable Cd Recording" was not ticked. No
problem! I ticked it again, AND found that the other cd-rw had its
"Enable Cd Recording" not ticked. I ticked it up but this caused that
my DVD rw had the recording function not ticked.
I have windows xp sp2. Can someone tell me, if this is a problem or
its part of win xp that it will not allow me to have 2 simultaneous
recorders enabled? Although I never noticed this before, I think that
I could be able to have "Enable CD Recording" on both the drives.
Thanks
