Incorrect / Can't reset home page

Have Windows XP and IE6.0 at home, and have set up
multiple family users.

IE6.0 and AOL work fine on my admin account.

For the other users it appears that their home page was
automatically set to another web site
(www.incredifind.com/...). I tried to re-set the home
back to its original value. This took a few tries as at
first the program did not accept the command.

Eventually, IE has the correct home page listed in the
options menu.

However, even though www.optonline.net appears to be the
homepage (as displayed in the tools menu), when IE is
started the status bar displays that it is still
attempting to connect to www.incredifind.com and the
program hangs forever.

This only happens in the user's accounts and not mine.
In my admin account both IE and AOL startup fine and I'm
able to browse the web.

When I deleted the Incredifind folder that had been
created (I was thinking that this was probably downloaded
when one of my family was on the web), all the users were
no longer able to access the internet with IE or AOL (the
page could not be found/no connection) page loaded on IE
startup or when browsing the web with AOL. Again this
only happened for the user accounts and IE and AOL still
worked fine on my admin account without the Incredifind
folder.

Any help in resolving this would be greatly appreciated.

Get and run these four programs:

and Spybot - Search & Destroy -

and BHO Demon: http://www.spywareinfo.com/downloads/bhod/
and SpywareBlaster:

Update them through their online update function. Use them at least weekly
to keep your system free from parasites.
