Inconsistent password requests

Hi,

I am running outlook (version from office xp) with xp pro sp2. I have 4
email accts with 4 different IPs.

Why am I asked for pws on my email accts on an infrequent basis? It is not
every time that I try to send or receive mail. It is not even every time I
open Outlook. Why is it asking me at all, if I checked the remember password
(or is it add to the password list?) in the 4 popup windows asking for pw?

I meant to says ISPs (not IPs)..each with its own mail server.

Sorry, I just reread your original post and see you are running Windows XP.
See if this article helps -- it should work for all Outlook versions on
Windows XP (note, this article is written for OE but the solution applies to
Outlook as well. Just ignore the parts that refer to OE):
