Incomplete Installation ???

Hey Folks,

I have this HP Pavilion ze4400 Laptop that I've been trying to Install
Windows XP Home and every time I try I get .dll such and such not found or
missing, but it's never the same .dll; I already ran the CHKDSK /F and even
reformatted the HD twice.

I have three Windows XP Home OS Disks and no matter which one I use I get
the same .dll error messages.

What could be causing this, The Hard Drive, the CD-ROM, what ????
