incoming and out going ....POP3 what ??????

in setup wizzard it ask me questions i dont have answers to about incoming
and out going servers ...something about POP3 what?? i dont understand ..it
say to ask my isp ??? i use a sprint broadband card and i have a live account
w mail and use yahoo mail also...so how do i answer the questions in setup
wizzard ???
