Lately I've been getting this progress window which shows this
several-second execution of "InCD.exe" when I do a Shut-down or a Restart.
This didn't used to happen.

Does anyone know why this is taking place?

Thanks,
Doug

Thanks Sandy,
I wonder why it's loaded? I haven't used Nero in several days.

By the way, do you know of a Nero Newsgroup?
I've tried to use their Support function and it takes forever to get an
answer from them - and sometimes they don't answer what I asked!
For instance, I sent them a question several days ago about RESTORING a file
which used their Backup system. The file took more than one CD to save it.
I'm having trouble Restoring it. I'm able to restore a one-cd file ok.
They answered a non-question about Backup!

inCD is the program that lets you do packet writing on RW cd and DVD. Packet
writing is
like using a RW disk as a floppy disk.
If you dont want it disable it from starting up by going
Start>Run type "msnconfig" and go to the startup tab and uncheck it.
This will not affect writing Recordable cds or dvds nor will it affect
normal writing of RW media from within Nero. (only the packet feature will
not work)

Thanks for the explanation John.
Always helps to have someone who knows tell you how it is!!
