Before I login to Outlook, anything that was in my inbox when I last closed
the program is automatically shown. I do have to login to gather new
messages. But I do not want previous messages to be available before I
login. If someone else comes to use my computer, then they will see all old
messages. In my corporate culture, this could be rather dangerous.

And why are you not password-protecting your PC?

The computer is used by several people. When Outlook is opened, the messages
of whoever last logged in are automatically shown. After a person logs in,
then they get their own messages. But before login, they can see anything
that just happened to be in the inbox of the last person to use the machine.

The why doesn't each person have his or her own Windows username?

If you each have a Windows username and you see this, you have Outlook
incorrectly configured. You should each have a separate mail profile set up
by each of you.

I don't see how that's possible if you each have your own Windows username.
