inability to save edited photos in adobe photoshop

I imported some photographic images from a cd into Adobe
7.0. When I tried to save these edited images i recieved
a message which read; "File is locked, use properties
command in Windows Explorer to unlock the file". I have
been unable to find this "unlock" option. Can anyone
help? Thanks, Dennis.
