In PPT 2007 where is the 'Format Picture Layout' option

In Powerpoint 2003 there was an option 'Format Picture Layout'. This was used
to when you had text and a picture and they were too close. You could use
this option to tighten the picture. How do I do this in 2007.

Glenda,
Not sure what you mean exactly with format picture layout. Is it you want to
crop the picture?
In that case select your picture, click on the Format contextual tab, in the
size group there is a button to crop the picture. Once you clicked on it you
can drag with the black handles and adjust your picture.
If it is not that you are after, post back.

I'm also not sure what you're referring to, but I think it may be Format |
Slide Layout and then you choose the Title, Text and Content" slide layout,
which would rearrange the text (in the placeholder where it said "click to
add text") and the picture (in the placeholder where you clicked on one of
the 6 icons to add the picture).

In PPT 2007, we now have the ability to create our own slide layouts and add
our own placeholders, so this may cause the "reapply" not to work there --
but it's worth a try. On the Home tab, there's a "reset slide" or "reapply
layout" or some similar button right next to the New Slide button. See if
that does the trick for you.

That's a feature in Word, certainly, but it's never been available in
PowerPoint.

Maybe there's a way of getting there in PPT2007, but first tell us what you mean
by "tighten the picture".
