In Outlook, how to move emails from old comp to new comp?

I have a new laptop and want to move all Outlook email from old comp to the
new one. How do you do this? Outlook seems accessible for import from
other program (OE, Eudora, etc.) but don't address import from its own
software application.

You can "export" to a .pst file and then import that .pst file into your new
outlook. Other option is to copy and paste the actual folder from Windows
and overwrite the new folder on the new comp. My outlook folders are located
at:

C:\Documents and Settings\brianm\Local Settings\Application
Data\Identities\{7C717AC3-CD45-4CFF-A03A-DE41E5736AB9}\Microsoft\Outlook
Express

Note that Microsoft Outlook is located in a different folder than Outlook
Express, as they are two entirely different applications. The folder where
the OUTLOOK PST is normally stored is:

C:\Documents and Settings\your profile\Application Data\Microsoft\Outlook

In Outlook, choose File > Open, and then browse to the PST to open it. If
you have burned the PST to a CD and then copied it over, make sure you remove
the read only attribute before you try to open it. The PST must be copied to
the local machine rather than trying to open it from CD as Outlook requires
read/write access to the file.

And overwritting a pst will corrupt it

Poor advice. Exporting and importing loses data.
