In Outlook 2003, how do I automatically receive messages when I l.

I would like to have messages received automatically when I open Outlook
2003. Is there a way to configure this?
 
Set the acct to check for mail every 10 minutes--no less than 10 or the
server won't have time to reset. It will check within 1 minute of opening. It
takes a little longer when you boot up, since processes are loading in the
background.
