I'm afraid I've erased some vital component used only by Photoshop to display proper color. After calibrating my monitor I threw away some old color profiles.......also thew out some stuff I thought was spyware or ad junk but i now fear i've discarded something XP Pro uses to properly display color. colors are extremly over saturated and contrasty....only in Photoshop
Tried to do system restore but since I'd thrown away the previous monitor profiles it wouldn't restore...Reset Photoshop color management....threw away preferences file.....re-installed Phototshop 7.01...nothing is working...color in all other programs is beautiful.......Do I have to re-install the system software
If I have to re-install....can I re-install over my existing system? What's the best procedure to get the mystery component back into the system?
