Whenever I close a window or move it, the dektop is left with an impression of it. To restore my desktop, I need to right click and "refresh".
The problem is getting worse and I need to refresh several times to remove one imprint. Do I have a bug? I updated and ran NAV and the results were perfect. What is going on? I am getting concerned!!

Please e-mail me!!!

What type of video card do you have installed? Is it 16MB, 32MB, etc?

Go to Control Panel and double-click the Display applet. Look on the
Adapter tab and you should see a description of your video card. It
sounds like your card isn't up to the demands of XP's eye candy, but
without hard information about your system, that's just a guess. In the
Display applet, you can also turn off some of the Effects if you need
to.

Just a note: If OP can figure out the manufacturer and model of the
video card, it would be worth checking the manufacturer's web site for
an up-to-date driver. This really sounds like a driver problem.
