Importing PST File

I upgraded this morning to OL2003 from OL2000.

Last night, whilst running OL2000, I compacted my PST file which I've done
before. Left it running overnight and came in this morning to do a restart
and then the PST file presented with errors and OL2000 was unable to work.

I then decided it was time to upgrade so installed OL2003, thinking it may
sort the problem out but alas it didn't.

I then had a look at some related articles online and decided to run the
Inbox Repair Tool which I had used before. This would get through to phase 4
of 8 and then stop and come up with a message saying "An Error has occured
which caused the scan to be stopped. No changes have been made to the
scanned file"

I've managed to restore all e-mails up to 4 weeks ago from a backup but
cannot seem to restore anything newer from 6th Feb to yesterday as this is in
this file.

Any ideas on how I might be able to recover this data as I'm at my wits end
to what to do!?

Thanks,
Ben.

The problem with this is that the Demo does not recover the message and the
full version costs way too much money considering I am only going to use it
the once!

Is there any other way?

Nope, but with the demo you can check if the messages are actually there or
not.
