Importing Outlook Mail pst file (addresses and emails)

I have 'upgraded' to a new MB and a 2.6CPU. The new MB
and CPU are 800Mhz rated, the older MB & CPU were 533Mhz.
(I have since been advised that the different chip set
could cause a problem - However: -)
I backed up my Mail and archive file (outlook.pst) and
when I try to 'import' these files, I keep getting the
error that states, "File access denied."
You do not have permission to access the file.
Is there some otherway I can get these files back. I
believed I would be OK using the import/export in
Outlook? I guess I really need HELP here!

In case you backed up to a CD; copy the files to your harddisk and remove
the "Read only" file property.
