importing movie clips

when i download into my computer movies from my Sony Cybershot T3, I am
unable later on to import them into WMM 2.1
When i look at the file name for the clips, it says Movie Clip, that' s all.
I can play them with windows media audio, with real player.
But the message I get when importing the file is that I can't import this
file because the content is empty??? it is not empty.
So how can I import Movie Clip to WMM?

Hello,

First off make sure that your Folder Options in Windows Explorer are set so
that you can see the file extension....

I'm guessing...It sounds as though you are using MPG or MPeg files. MM can
not handle them properly. If the software that came with your camera gives
the option of converting them to AVI files do so, or go to
www.videohelp.com/convert and look for a converter that will convert your
