Importing from Mac OS X to Win XP Pro

Hi,

I need to import a large number of files from an Apple OS
X laptop to a Win XP Pro one. Could someone tell me how
I should do that? I have a USB-to-USB cable.

Hi, Joss -

I think you need a different cable, to start. Connecting
two computers by their USB ports isn't a real good way to
network them - what you need is commonly called a
crossover cable and is a simple network cable with two
pairs of wires reversed on one end. Any computer store
should be able to fix you up with no problem.

Anyway, after you connect the machines take a look at
this article from Apple - since it's the laptop that'll
need to be configured to work on a Windows network -
