Importing files from Mac OS X

Hi,

I need to set up a network between my ThinkPad (WinXP)
and a Mac OSX laptop. I just need to import a large
numbers of files, roughly 5GB worth, from the Mac to the
PC.

Could someone point me to an article on how to do that?
I need something "for dummies", which details every step.

Thanks. I understand how to establish the network to
import files from the WinXP machine to the Mac OS X box,
but it's the reverse I want to do. How do I get to find
the folders on the Mac machine from my WinXP machine?
