importing files from 2000 to XP

Hi
When I import ppt slides from win/office 2000 into XP Powerpoint it leaves
some of the slides blank. I've put win SP3 onto the machine and thought
this had resolved the issue but I have had someone else send me slides and
it has done the same thing again.

Many thanks if anyone can help
 
Sorry correction I'm opening them up in powerpoint 2003 not XP
